顿巴斯的介绍
顿巴斯是“顿涅茨煤田”的简称。乌克兰最大的煤炭基地。在顿河下游西侧，西距克里沃罗格铁矿约400公里。东西长620公里，南北宽70-170公里，总面积6万平方公里。总地质储量1，410亿吨（1980年），其中炼焦煤375亿吨，约占26%（1980）。尚有汞、岩盐等矿藏。十九世纪起大规模开采。1985年产煤 1.98亿吨。冶金、电力、化工和机械制造业均发达。重要城市有顿涅茨克、卢甘斯克、马克耶夫卡等。
